Himalayan Salt Crystal Lamp

Himalayan Salt Crystal Lamp is unique and one of a kind and comes in 3 sizes.  The colours of the lamps may vary from light pink or apricot to deeper orange or dark ruby red. This is due to the many natural shades found in the salt deposits. The lamps emit an amber glow that reflects their superior mineral content: reds from iron, oranges from copper and yellows from magnesium.
The lamp is said to have many health benefits.

Add 2-3 drops of 100% pure essential oil to the top of your lamp to give off the best aroma experience. No harm will come to your beautiful salt lamp.

It is best to leave a lamp on 24/7/365 to avoiding weeping. They work best when left on allowing the lamp to heat up and release negative ions into the surrounding air. The rock emits a low, non-intrusive light and requires minimal electricity.

Please note that it is impossible to match the lamps to pictures. Each and every lamp is different and unique in colour, shape and size. Each lamp comes with a beautiful cherry wood base, electrical cord, care instructions and one free 15-watt display bulb. A replacement 15w pygmy bulb can be purchased from any hardware store – they are very affordable.

If there is a specific shape or colour you have in mind, please pop us an email with your requirements after you have placed your order. We will try our best to match your desired lamp according to what we have available.

Himalayan salt is rock salt mined from the Punjab region of Pakistan. The salt often has a pinkish tint due to mineral impurities. It is primarily used as a food additive as healthy table salt but is also used as a material for cooking and food presentation, decorative lamps, and spa treatments. The salt is promoted with claims that it benefits health.

Local legend traces the discovery of the Himalayan salt deposits to the army of Alexander the Great.  However, the first records of mining are from the Janjua people in the 1200s. Salt is mostly mined at the Khewra Salt Mine in Khewra, Jhelum District, Punjab, Pakistan, which is situated in the foothills of the Salt Range hill system in the Punjab province of Pakistan to the Indo-Gangetic Plain.   It is primarily exported in bulk, and processed in other countries for the consumer market.[
