Thiamine Vitamin B1 (84 Tablets)
Thiamine Vitamin B1 is used to treat low thiamine, beriberi, certain nerve diseases, and Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome (WKS).
Our bodies need Thiamine to use carbohydrates correctly and help maintain proper nerve function. This supplement is often used in combination with other B vitamins and is found in many vitamin B complex products.
Thiamine helps conditions that are related to low levels of thiamine, including beriberi and inflammation of the nerves (neuritis). People with digestive problems, diabetic nerve pain, heart disease, and other conditions can also take this supplement.

Did you know?
Thiamine was named B1 because it was the first B complex vitamin to be discovered.
Thiamine is naturally present in the liver, beef, port, brewer’s yeast, blackstrap molasses, whole grains, eggs, oranges, cauliflower, potatoes, asparagus, and kale.
In general, whole-wheat and unrefined foods contain higher amounts of Vitamin B1 than refined foods. For example, white rice contains about 1/10 of the Thiamine found in brown rice.
Thiamine is a sensitive vitamin and is easily destroyed by cooking with heat and water (such as boiling).
